Competência, revista da educação superior do SENAC/RS

Abstract

This text presents a brief explanation on the establishment of scientific periodicals, followed by a history of Competência – the Journal of Higher Education published by SENAC in Rio Grande do Sul (SENAC/RS). In 2018, this periodical reaches its tenth anniversary, on a continuous periodicity. This article shows how, since 2008, Competência has been seeking to improve its publishing and serve authors who are interested in publicizing their work. By investing in the creation and maintenance of Competência, SENAC/ RS acknowledges the importance of encouraging and promoting development of research for professional qualification.
